Soil Stabilization

Soil stabilization is the process of preparing pavement sub-base soils to provide a higher load bearing capacity. Stabilization involves pulverizing or blending the native sub-grade soil thoroughly with stabilization agents such as fly ash or lime, so that after proper compaction and curing the soil has a greater density (stable) and provides the stronger sub-base desired. This is all done on your jobsite and in-place with our extensive fleet of equipment including compactors, recyclers, tillers, motor graders, and trimmers.
